Interesting BBC article this. Amex used as a good example amongst some of the worlds best. The fact that OUR stadium is cited as a precedent is just another example of the outstanding facility and stunning design we are so fortunate to be able to call 'home'. Obviously the football helps but no surprise next years season tickets have nearly all gone. We do though need to crank up that atmosphere again to make it deafening in there. And thanks to Dk, Mp and Tb we didn't end up with one of those Riverside boring bowls. UTA!!

Could we not give WestdeneWanderer a vuvuzela to blow everytime we get over the halfway line.

Compared to most grounds in the country, our home atmo is very, very good.

I think the type of football being played makes a difference. Take the recent Charlton match. Many times, when we were passing around at the back, the ground was very subdued, but when we mounted our second half onslaught (albeit unsuccessfully) the atmosphere and noise was superb. Teams that play at a high tempo seem to generate their own "atmosphere" This was noticeable at places like Forest this season and is often the case at smaller club grounds.
