Brighton & Hove Albion are set for another season of superb support at the American Express Community Stadium in 2013/14 - irrespective of the division in which the team might kick off the new campaign - as the club's fans have already renewed 95% of their current season tickets.
And, with at least 1,000 people on the club's waiting list buying new season tickets, numbers for next season will be well in excess of the 22,000 figure sold this season - even before the general sale period begins immediately after the final whistle of next Saturday's home game with Blackpool.
Chief executive Paul Barber said, "It is great to see that the demand for season tickets at the Amex continues to grow at a rapid pace. It's a phenomenal achievement for the club. It's down to a number of factors. Our style of play and the performances of the team are of course the key reasons, but also the whole Amex experience is proving to be a great day out and leaves our fans wanting more.
"Also, we have made it as easy as possible for fans to buy season tickets. Our interest-free direct debit facility allows fans to spread the cost of their season ticket over 12 months, while the season ticket remains tremendous value for money when you factor in the cost of travel which is fully included in the price for the majority of our fans. Regardless, the loyalty and faith is simply fantastic.
"We are absolutely delighted with the number of season-ticket holders we have at the moment - and of course we want as many as possible - but we also need to keep some seats available on a match-to-match basis so that fans who cannot commit to all or the majority of our home games still have the opportunity to come and see their team - and we can continue to attract new fans to the Albion."

Makes a mockery of all the doom and gloom comments seen on here about the novelty wearing off after a season or two..... I hope they still work more on getting the longer trains in however.
