From one or two people i get the impression that we had been trying to sign Ulloa certainly for months if not longer. Does anyone know when his name was first mentioned in relation to us ?

We tried over a year ago but the passport issue blocked it from my understanding.
There was a brilliant thread in which many oracles of NSC suggested we should "stop wasting our time" trying to sign it and asked questions like "Why don't the club just sign someone easier to get".
Because he is BLOODY BRILLIANT.

The reason i asked was that i wondered if he was one of our main targets from the moment we got promoted

All credit to the club. They earmarked this guy a long time ago and kept it under wraps until it was deal done. He looks the real deal and I just hope we hang on to him.
