The Young Seagulls Open Day takes place at the Amex Stadium tomorrow where members will have the unique opportunity to watch Gus Poyet put his players through their paces in a live training session.
The event, which will also include a host of other activities, is all-ticket but if you know of a fellow member who is yet to claim their ticket, get them to call the Young Seagulls team on 01273 647244. Once booked they can collect the ticket from the Amex Stadium ticket office tomorrow morning.

• * 10am to 10:30am – Watch one of the best UK Football Freestylers, John Whetton perform pitchside*
• * 10.30am to 11.45am – Open Training Session
• * 11:45am to Midday – Penalty Competition against Casper Ankergren*
• * 10am to Midday – Entertainment in the Bupa Lounge
• * 1.30pm to 2.30pm – Exclusive Open Day Q&A in the Bupa Lounge available at £10 per child, to book call 01273 647244
Arriving at the Amex
We recommend that you travel to the Amex via public transport, but there is limited parking available for £5 on the day if you have no other option but to drive.
With Falmer train station located just 200m from the stadium local trains are a convenient way of travelling to the Amex. Direct trains take just nine minutes from Brighton station while the stadium is serviced by trains from stations including Lewes, Eastbourne and Seaford from the East.
A number of buses also service the Amex. Bus routes 25 (Brighton city centre & Hove), 23 (Whitehawk & Kemp Town), 28/29 (Lewes & Crowborough) provide a regular service to the Amex Stadium.
To enter the Amex for the Open Day make your way to the West Stand Lower concourse turnstiles.
Weather
Please consider the recent cold and wet weather and make sure that you dress appropriately. Tomorrow’s forecast is overcast with temperatures between five and seven degrees Celsius.
Food & Drink
A large range of hot and cold food and drinks will be available to purchase in the West Stand Lower concourse. A bacon roll and hot drink meal deal will be available for £4 and a Gully’s meal deal with a jumbo sausage roll for £4.50.
Merchandise
The Seagulls Superstore, located at the Amex, will be open as normal throughout the day and there will also be a special sale in the West Stand Lower concourse, where replica shirts will be available for as little as £10. Other selected items will also be discounted.
Please note, there will be no opportunity to get the players’ autographs but each Young Seagulls member will be given an exclusive signed team sheet.
