Its as safe as gold if you bought some at $27 six weeks ago. I expect it to double again by the end of the month. Only problem is its hard to spend with it but it is much safer than putting your savings in a Cypriot bank.

Some stock broker in February said this will reach $1000. I doubt it will get that high but it will get close.

No it's not. Bitcoin exchanges are HUGE targets for hackers, their security generally isn't as good as full scale banks. Additionally the value is crazy volatile.
