Purely in terms of footballing ability I've always had a soft spot for Drogba, very few CFs in history get close to his all round ability. Also a fan of Vidic, best CB in the world when he's fit.

I know it's sacrilege but I really enjoy watching Germany, as a unit. Schweinsteiger is a player I really admire.

Ashley Young is someone I also noticed a few years ago and tipped for the highest level ... not quite worked out at Man U yet for him but maybe his time will come.

For entertainment alone, Bellamy is good value. Skill, passion and a fiery temperament ... a winning combination.

He only just still qualifies as a player but Scholes has always been one of my favourites such a ridiculously talented midfielder.

Arteta as well, for similar reasons.
