Depends how ethical you are.

You could book a return ticket on east coast at £119 which is not fixed to any specific train and you can return within 30 days of the outward travel date. Make sure you don't get your ticket scanned in a barrier when you head back home, show it at the gate to an inspector and get them to manually open the gate and then for the next 30 days set up a delay alert on the east coast website and find a train going back to London that's delayed for more than 2 hours or a few cancellations (which recently with East Coast is nearly every day)

When you find one, fill in the delay repay form on the website and get a 100% refund on the tickets in the form of vouchers you can use for future train travel on any company

In a pile of football shirts
best I could find was £80 odd from Southwick, so decided not to.

If you can get to Southampton or Heathrow it's almost as cheap to fly! From £106 return, but returning the Sunday - so get a cheap room and make a weekend of it?!
Shame there are no direct Lgw flights.
