if we get to the playoffs - a cup tournament - do we need to change the way we play?

for me, i love the way we play - but in a cup knockout i think we need to be more risky......sometimes we are 0-1 down (wel, often really) - and we knock it about at the back with little urgency - if the season is over in 30 minutes time - which it will be in a play off game - do we need to adopt a gung ho cup style up and at em style?

if so, surely its too late for us to implement this "cup style".....?
