Poor game. We were second to the ball far too many times and stood around and watched loose balls instead of pouncing on them.
Kuszczack 7. Seemed to puch too many balls in the 2nd half which he should have caught. Maybe should have done better with the goal.
Calderon 7. Not sure why others have maked him down. Thought he was OK defensively and supported the attacks well.
Greer 6. Too many stray balls in the first half and one error almost lead to a goal.
Upson 7. Not quite up to his usual high standards.
Bridge 7. Tried to make things happen, but lady luck was not on his side.
Bridcutt 8. Strong game as usual. MOM
Lopez 5. Too much of what he tried to do failed to come off. Seemed to be lacking energy.
Orlandi 6. Slightly better game than Spanish Dave, but failed to impose himself.
Hammond 6. One of his poorer games. His lack of speed showed up, too slow on the ball and too many sideways and backward passes. Would have preferred to see Crofts.
Buckley. Looked fairly bright before he came off.
Ulloa 7. Lacked support and the ball did not run kindly for him. Not one of his best games.
Subs:
Lua Lua 7. Too many crosses overhit after beating his man. His end product MUST improve. But a well taken goal.
Vicente 6. Only about 50% of what he tried to do was successful. Same as Tuesday.
Barker. Looked lively in the short time he was on the pitch.

Good shout, but I would say Bridcutt was an 8. Held it altogether and quietly immense.
Glad you too spotted the Calderon glaring weakness (second game in a row, awful, with no pace tracking back....now getting destroyed for fun), and for once Lopez and Orlandi were poor ... were fairly muscled off the ball by better athletes with a fired-up determination to win the game.

Hammond - 5. A few decent moments but - along with most of the team - looked quite lost for long periods of the game.

Ulloa - 6. Outmuscled a lot by Morgan today but held the ball up well a few times and some good defensive headers. Shame he was playing upfront alone because he found himself with the ball a few times with no one to play the ball forward to.
