To help cheer us up during this miserable spell of weather, what are your favourite views in Sussex when the sky is blue and the sun is shining?

I'll start with:
- The Ouse Valley from the top of Mount Caburn
- The Arun Valley from the B2139 above Houghton
- The view east and south from Chantry Hill above Storrington
- The Amex Stadium from Ditchling Beacon!

Pulling up to Falmer Station coming from Brighton... Love see the ground appear in the distance.

The view from the Race Hill looking West over Brighton is one of the single most beautiful places to watch the sunset.

I agree with Seaford Head, also view of Cuckmere Haven from above it on the A259. I'd also add the view of Arundel going west on the A27; view south from the top of Ditchling High Street with the great sinister bulk of the downs looming above the village; the view east from the A27 from the Ouse valley to Firle Beacon; I'll end with a really obscure one: the view from the west door of Chithurst church, described by Pevsner as "disturbingly verdant and English, like an over-vivid dream". Haven't been for a good few years to Chithurst, but hopefully it hasn't changed....
