dont matter
All the time Ulloa's fit, he wouldn't start but a short term deal til end of season as back up might be worth a go.

What did Poyet once say about him???. He can't run, he can't head, he is not the best in a tackle etc etc....but he has a knack of being in the right place at the right time. Which is not a bad asset to have, seeing as our options atm behind Ulloa are zero. Let's be honest if Cms/Barnes or Hoskins were on the bench last night they would have got at least ten mins, which tells you all you need to know about what Poyet thinks of Barker. We are desperate for some sort of cover up front, for the next three games at least. Although I have no faith in Barnes coming back in and doing anything(apart from something stupid)what so ever.

Wont the rule about being a free agent on 31st January, as suggested on other threads, kick in so it would be a no go even if he and Gus wanted it to happen.

BBC Sport - Rangers terminate Francisco Sandaza contract after hoax call

Rangers have terminated their contract with Francisco Sandaza, subject to the right of appeal.
The striker, 28, was suspended pending an investigation into a hoax telephone call involving a man claiming to be a football agent.
Sandaza allegedly disclosed contract details and declared himself interested in a move to another club.
"The club, and our advisors, believe that dismissal is the appropriate course of action," stated Rangers.
Signed last summer after he left St Johnstone, Sandaza scored twice this season for Rangers, who have won the Scottish Football League Third Division.
The full club statement read: "Rangers announced today that the club has decided to terminate its contract with Francisco Sandaza. The player has been advised of the situation.
"Francisco spoke at length to someone posing as an agent and engaged in a conversation which the club believes to be a material breach of his contract of employment.
"The player was suspended but after careful consideration and a hearing with Francisco and his representatives, the club, and our advisors, believe that dismissal is the appropriate course of action.
"The termination is subject to the right of appeal under SFL rules and there will be no further comment from Rangers on this issue."

Word is Gus has tried to call him several times to get him back but Fran thinks it's a wind up and just keeps asking for a taxi to Stenhousemuir!
