Albion were denied a precious home win in a frantic finale as they drew 0-0 with Charlton tonight.
Vicente saw his shot deep in added time turned on to the bar by goalkeeper Ben Hamer from point blank range.
Gordon Greer headed the resulting flag kick against the far post.
Albion were always on top but could have been behind in an eventful period of added time had Tomasz Kuszczak not tipped a Dale Stephens volley over the top corner.
The hosts had to work hard for their chances but will feel they created enough to have won the game.
Right-back Inigo Calderon had their best opening in the first period, dragging a close-range shot wide after Liam Bridcutt played the ball in following a short corner routine.
Will Buckley had an even clearer opportunity on the hour but headed wide at the far post from Vicente’s pinpoint cross.
Bridcutt came to the hosts’ rescue on a rare Charlton raid when he stretched to block Bradley Pritchard’s on–target effort.
