Football League Championship

Kick off:- 7.45p.m

Match officials:- Referee-MICK RUSSELL
Darren Blunden and Jake Hillier
Fourth Official John Hopkins

Can the Albion start to cement their play off place by winning and moving 4 clear of Leicester?
Will the the cyclone tear up the Amex again?
Will Bridders and Kuszczak return after illness (please god let Kus return)
Will charlton win again after their 3-2 Bolton victory?

I say 3-1 Albion, Ulloa with another brace and Buckley.

Brighton & Hove Albion vs Charlton Athletic *** Official Match Thread ***

Date: 2nd April 2013
Venue: The Amex Stadium
Kick Off: 19.45
Referee: M Russell

Brighton go into this evenings game high on confidence with an impressive record of 4 wins and 2 draws from their last 6 home games.

Talismanic cult argentinian striker Leonardo Ulloa will be looking to reach double figures in the league for the Seagulls tonight following his move from Almeria in the January transfer window. Brighton will also be boosted by the return of the unflappable Tomasz Kuczczak and irreplaceable Liam Bridcutt to the side. Spanish matador Vicente Rodriguez may make a rare start tonight.

The visitors boast good away form this season and will be buoyed by their come from behind 3-2 win against Bolton last Saturday. Skipper Johnnie Jackson has been a consistent stand out for the Addicks this season alongside striker Yann Kermagorant.

My prediction, the return to the side of Kuczczak brings much needed stability to the team and I foresee a tight 1-0 win for the Albion. Ulloa with the only goal, a bullet header!

Come on you Seagulls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too late

Sorry, BV.
Too tired, I didn't spot that.

But it's OK, this is not the OFFICIAL official thread.

I like this one.

After being inundated with one request for the stats for the Forest game, and due to Casper's horror gaff, it's back

Head-to-head
• Brighton twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Charlton when the two sides met at the Valley in December, and a 75th minute equaliser from substitute Kazenga Lua Lua secured the point.
• The Seagulls are unbeaten in four Championship and League One clashes against Charlton (won two, drew two).
• Charlton last claimed maximum points on Brighton turf in December 2009 with a 2-0 triumph. Now the Addicks are after a fourth win in six league trips to Brighton.
Brighton
• Play-off chasing Brighton have won five of 10 league games, but only one of the last five.
• The Seagulls are looking to complete four successive home league wins for the first time since returning to the Championship in May 2011.
• Victory would also take Brighton's all-time total of second-tier league points to 1,000.
Charlton
• Mid-table Charlton have won three of their last 11 league games, failing to score in three of the most recent six.
• The Addicks have only kept one clean sheet in 20 in all competitions.
• Chris Powell's side has seen five players from the opposing side sent off in this Championship campaign, including two Bolton players in the 3-2 victory over the Trotters last Saturday.
• Defender Chris Solly, 22, is hoping to make his 100th Charlton start.

Vicente's a matador? What's a cult argentinian? Why isn't Argentinian capitalised? Kuszczak's name's spelt wrong. Missing apostrophes and commas.

I've got a bad feeling about this. :moo:

I really think that, if we start well and can put early pressure on and get that early goal, the floodgates will open and we'll win at a canter

Otherwise it will be an edgy one goal win
