Championship - football luck evens out over a season, and now it's going our way

Earlier in the season, we deserved more from

B'ham home
Cardiff home
Ipswich home
Bolton home
Forest home
B'ham away
Blackburn home
Barnsley away

It seemed the football gods were conspiring against us.

(We did have occasional backs to the walls results along the way eg Cardiff, Watford, and Blackpool away).

But now with Palace and Leicester imploding at squeaky bum time, and Forest slipping up, is it going to be our year with our late ascent?

Gus and the players must be absolutely ruthless tomorrow and destroy Charlton from the first second, to take advantage.

Agree on being ruthless tomorrow but no point looking back on past results and saying if this if that. Basically it's up to us this time round but results like today help!

Never know what's around the corner in football so this could be our best chance for years to make the play-offs. Two massive games now this week - huge opportunity.

Not meaning to put a downer on the thread but we are quite capable of ****ing it up tomorrow, but for the moment I'm loving everyone else's misfortune.

It wasn't said with sadness. It was just that we didn't even play today and almost everything went our way, in contrast to earlier the season when Palace, Hull and Millwall for example (IMO NOT outstanding teams, unlike Reading, Stains and West Ham last year) kept getting late winners and all the luck.

It seems that since the Palace game, that for Albion fans, this season is shaping up rather nicely now, even on rest days!
