Pork pie land.
Well good people of North Stand Chat, the team we have after tonight will be the one that wins or fails to win promotion.

Simeon Jackson looks to be almost certain. Do we think two senior strikers will be enough? We are three light at the moment.

What other players do we need (e.g. how bad if PIGs back?) or do we think we will get?

Any other strong rumours?

One striker brought in should be enough providing no more injuries. No others needed.Pointless wasting money.

We needed another striker in when Hoskins got crocked. Then a 2nd when CMS finished for the season. That's without Barnes being out until Blackpool.

So, yes, 2 strikers are required.

Although I suspect it'll only be Jackson that we bring in.

If we do get 2 ( assuming 1 of them isn't Simon Church ) then it really will be a great day.

Why do we need two more? We have two strikers for a team that regularly only plays with one with only 8 games to go? Worst case scenario is that they could both get injured. We could have four strikers and they could all get injured. What quality striker is going to come here on loan to sit on a bench for eight games? Easter could have been a problem had we been playing on Monday as that might have been two quick games for Ulloa but we're not. We have five games with the two strikers we have and then Barnes becomes available again for the final three and hopefully another three.

Can we develop this approach more widely for the whole team? e,g. COW = Congolese on the wing, JIM = "Jock" in midfield etc

DOG = Dave on Ground (Lopez)
FIB = Fox in Box (Ulloa)
