After watching a fairly disjointed England performance on Tuesday, all the plaudits went to the manager of Montenegro. But in a World Cup Final before extra time (yep 2003 and different ball), the captain told the manager in a fairly straightforward way, that he knew what they had to do, so basically just f... off. The manager was knighted and the game rolls on.
As I never played football to a level that deserved an orange at half time, the question is, do you need a manager to make a team? Or does the team make the manager?
