As a tradesmen, I have a client who is making access a little awkward for my liking, especially as she owes me money..!

I have set some time this week to work at her home, and just yesterday got a text saying 'can't work while we're not here, as new insurance policy doesn't cover us if un-named key holders have keys, so annoying darling..'

So, insurance bods, what if any, hassle or cost to client is it to get me named (temporarily) as a key holder.

I'm willing to cover the cost, and am fully covered with PLI and checkable with CRB etc..

Any help appreciated,

R

So you can work while they're not there, you just can't have a key. Get them / friend to let you in etc. But if you need a key it can't cost much to have you named, but they may not want to do it.
