Here's a shot in the dark, this thread could either go down quicker than Wilfried Zaha in the penalty box or be a piece of inspired genius like Vicente on the ball.

Have any of you fine people had any experience with playing Warhammer? Perhaps some of you play it regularly?

The MMO or the other version? If the MMO I played for the free 30 days at release hit level 40 and gave up as no content and never gone back.

I never played it, but I used to collect and paint the figures. Even back at the age of 12, I thought playing it was stupid

Played up to uni. Still trade the metal figs on eBay (buy bulk, sell singles/rare ones). Would love to have time to paint again but life just too busy these days.
1,000's dwarves in boxes all over the house.

Well at least there's an Albion reference in there somewhere...

And even though I didn't play it, pretty much all my friends did back in like Year 9. I just couldn't keep up with all the trends, so I didn't bother wasting my money. Just as well really.

That's strange, most of my friends had never even heard of it, I only knew about 5 people that played it. It is ridiculously expensive though, especially nowadays.

Jnr. Skipper has got Billions of pounds worth of it, all in the briefcase carriers and painted. He used to play a bit in the shop in Winchester. I don't think any of it has seen the light of day for about four years. He is about to sit A levels and is mostly glued to internet devices now days. In my day it was girls.

Never played it, but the intricate artwork some people out into their models when I'd call into the local games shop was quite brilliant.

Is this the game for Virgins, Weird psycho type guys, nerds and social hand grenades???

Primarily nerds who need a way to express some creativity, socialise with people with similar interests and have a penchant for statistics (fighting not building or painting)

Although football can satisfy a couple of those now, which is why I haven't played much Warhammer recently (that and university).
