To be fair, i think it is worth registering that the BBC are reporting this. Being just outside Southampton, I listened deliberately for the Sports news on South today, and they mentioned nothing about Gus considering a move to reading, because Reading are in their area. They have had absolutely nothing about the story the whole way through on their website, and so I think it has to be pretty reliably nailed on for them to report it.

interesting that a number of reports this evening and suggestions yesterday that things haven't been so rosy in the background. Perhaps more made of it than what really is the case or he would have gone. Equally perhaps he has been informed of next years budgets.
