Albion fans are in suspense tonight as they wait to hear what*the future holds for boss Gus Poyet.
The Seagulls manager is wanted by Reading and both clubs have declined to comment on the chances of him going to the Madejski Stadium.
But if - and it is if - he were to end his three-and-half-year connection with the Seagulls, who would fans want to step in?
Names to consider could include...
Roberto di Matteo - Poyet's great mate who was axed by Chelsea this season.
Nigel Adkins - said to be in the running with Poyet for the Reading job and a thinking manager who knows how to win promotion.
Luis Enrique - another linked with the Royals, the former Roma boss had a glittering playing career with Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Owen Coyle - experienced Championship boss axed by Bolton earlier this season.
Mark Hughes - would love to prove a point after being sacked this season by QPR.
Eddie Howe - a bright young tactician who has caused Albion problems.
Joaquin Caparros - David Lopez's former manager at Athletic Bilbao, sacked recently by Mallorca.
