Ferdinand found himself embroiled in controversy when a family disappeared while visiting his newly-opened flagship theme park - Les 'Ferdi-land'. The theme park consisted of one ride - a ghost train that took you on an interactive tour of all of his goals. When the family had not returned home after two weeks, Les Ferdi-land was investigated and temporarily shut down. The family were never found, despite the park being their last known whereabouts. It was later revealed that other families had gone missing. Les Ferdi-land never re-opened.
