Sunday is, admittedly, something of a pleasant haze, but I'm sure I remember watching on the screens at the Amex as some stewards went chasing around after a chicken on the pitch. Everyone on the concourse was cheering each time the errant hen made a break for it.

Yes. Play was stopped because a chicken was released onto the pitch. The referee showed the chicken a straight red card for serious fowl play.
