Hi everyone.
Hope you don't mind me popping in here to let you know that Lewes FC presents its fourth glorious Beer Festival on Friday. Twenty ales and ciders on offer, plus the odd lager. Harveys ales include the feisty Elizabethan (quite rare on cask and packing quite a punch at 7.5%), Bull's Head, and the first Tom Paine of the season. There will also be a couple from Rectory Ales, and other regional breweries.
Hot food will be on sale to soak it all up, and everyone gets a special commemorative glass to boot.
The Rook Inn, Dripping Pan, 5pm till late, £5 on door or £4 in advance, tickets available in Lewes from the Pan, Hartleys, or the Gardeners Arms.
Hope you can make it. Thanks.

Forgot to also say that Steve Claridge will be at tonight's game at the Pan (Tuesday). Why not come along and personally thank the man for scoring a last gasp winner against Palace on 27 May 1996, thereby depriving your best friends of promotion to the Premier League! You could also pick up an advance Beer Festival ticket whilst you're at it...

Someone from Lewes suggesting that There will also be a couple from Rectory Ales, and other regional breweries. ?

Shh... the people of Lewes are not generally aware that other breweries exist, you will be on a bonfire come autumn.
