Sorry this might be a bit of a silly question but...

I'm thinking about getting a new car this weekend, but I was wondering will my NCD restart from 2 years or will it carry on from where I am now and I recieve my 3rd year NCB when it's due on my current insurance

Stays as it is, you just tell them about change of vehicle.

Thanks, what about if I was to go to a new insurance company would it be the same?

No! Would go back to 2 Years, plus the penalty you would pay for cancelling.

ahh ok, guess I'll ask how much my insurance will go up on this car, or just wait a few months for my 3rd year.
