Got to be some created for the palace game... just like we've had for a few other games. will make for some wonderful viewing.

As a novice, I'd be interested in what makes something 'cinematic'. Do they just apply a filter to it, play a clip in slo-mo, crop the video so it is widescreen and put some stirring classical music underneath? Or is there something more to it?

That's normally what gives it the cinematic effect, yes, but the club normally get someone from outside to do their own filming and editing.

Yes and no. Filters in the edit, but I'd imagine they are looking for certain shots and increasing the frame rate, using specialist lenses etc...

Basically although shot on video you go out with the intention of making it look like film and looking like a film. Used to like the proper films they used to make of the World Cup. Capturing the sort of shots that would be impossible to capture with cameras simply following the game.
