If it was not for the Albion The Argus would be dead and burried. I remember the days when the property section was bigger than the paper itself. Now its just a couple of pages. Same for the car bit.

I remember buying it before they gave even coverage to a handful of Falmer residents rather than backing the tens of thousands behind the new ground plans....never again
True. Got today's edition.
I only buy it when there's some good Albion news, or another Sussex event of note, and speaking to others it's the same for them.
Gone are the days of their 6 figure readership, and clammer to buy the Night Final at 6 on a Saturday.

Yep, bought my first Argus for a long time, today.
I mentioned selling plenty of copies to the elderly newsagent, he replied:-
'A man was in on Saturday, my age (a pensioner) saying he was going to his first ever game of football, on Sunday'.
I did point out he'll be pretty disappointed by the second game he goes too.
