It's not a ridiculous stat though, is it? Beating Palace at home used to be an annual Boxing Day treat (seven in a row in 70s and 80s?) For anyone from that era, 25 years is a very long time to wait, whether you have played them every season or not.

Okay, misleading then rather than ridiculous. For those that don't necessarily know it makes it sound as if they beat us at home year in year out.
By the same token, you can say Newcastle Utd haven't beaten us since 1989, but we've only played them 6 times since then.

I much prefer the stat that they could not manage the double over us in 85 years. Team of the 80's? The shit we have been through and all! lol

Here's another one for you. Palace comprehensively blew the chance to do the double over us for the first time since 1932. You like?
