Derby action from the Goldstone 35 years ago this week as Teddy Maybank is fouled by Paul Hinshelwood and Kenny Sansom. We printed this photo earlier this season and it is typical of the classic archive shots which can be found in The Argus every Saturday

Albion are out to end a long wait – by enjoying a home win over Crystal Palace.
The Eagles have not been defeated on the South Coast since Boxing Day 1988.
There have only been three derbies in Sussex since then, resulting in a 0-0 draw and 3-2 win for Palace at Withdean followed by their 3-1 success at The Amex last season.
Albion’s 3-1 victory in a second-tier game in 1988-89 was their seventh successive home win over Palace.
Kevin Bremner’s header and a Gary Chivers goal sent them into a 2-0 half-time lead before an above-average crowd of 13,515.
Ian Wright took five minutes to reply in the second period before Garry Nelson made sure of the points by beating keeper Brian Parkin in front of the North Stand.
Tomorrow’s match will see a new record attendance set at The Amex – which might worry superstitious Seagulls fans.
A new record was also set when Palace visited Withdean in 2005-06, thanks to the opening of the (far) West Stand for away fans.
Leon Knight twice put the Seagulls in front but Dougie Freedman replied both times and Jobi McAnuff drilled a low shot into the bottom corner in the fourth minute of added time to give Ian Dowie’s men a 3-2 win.
