what 'shag' does or DOESN'T mean?

So who has just had to explain to their 4/5 year olds.......
Totally agree, I curse and cuss all day long, but a reference to the 'f word' on comic relief before 9pm is totally unneccessary.
Jeez , I feel old........but correct.

Kids going to be right now for that exact reason! Couldn't believe it just before 8pm "what's a shag" my 7 and 5 yr olds asked me!.......

When I lived in South Carolina there'd always be posters up advertising 'Shag on the Beach' and similar. People couldn't understand why I kept chuckling
