What's more satisfying - this?

For me it's got to be old school flicking the V's. There's nothing more satisfying and you can do it one-handed with proper venom or the Mullery style two arm salute that let's the world know that you're the man and you don't give a scooby.

And I can't go past Selhurst on the train, even now, without a sneaky two finger slide up and down my cheek.

Defo the Vs for me. Mainly because its totally childish and totally unthreatening. My favourite two fingered salute was from those two sulky Rangers players sitting on the bench a few years back after they'd been fined for missing a curfew or something.

The middle finger can be genuinely offensive, whereas the V is childish, funny yet the recipient still knows what you mean.

The V is normally reserved for passing Selhurst on the train, although I occasionally give SMS the same greeting.

Totally this (and impressed with the lack of a z in americanised!)
