So, the big game of the season for a number of the Albion faithful is upon us, and the first derby for a while where both sides are competing for a place in the play-offs.
BetButler have searched the marketplace and the view of the bookmakers is that it is likely to be a competitive match but that a draw is not on the cards.
Albion are narrow favourites at 2.60 while Palace are given a 2.90 quote. Supporting the belief that a draw is unlikely, BetButler offer up 3.40 on that scenario.
Obviously I am not going to be tipping Crystal Palace! Therefore the decision is down to what compromises the better value, the draw or the home win.
Let's be bullish and go for an Albion win at 2.60. It's a big price for the home side in a competitive fixture and I am expecting the team to match the occasion.
For our only other wager in the match, and as a bit of insurance, backing the half-time/full-time result of Draw/Draw at 5.50 makes a lot of sense.
Palace tickets are available to supporters with a purchase history within the previous three seasons. Buy*online, via the ticketline – 0844 327 1901 – or in person at both ticket offices.
