I currently feel like a sack of pooh, and with Sunday in mind, I am desperately throwing everything at it.

I'm dosing myself up with paracetamol, lockets, honey and lemon drinks.
Not to mention my third favourite drink, (behind Timmy Taylor and AMEX Harvey's), Venos.

They are all a con. Mainly sugar. Best short term relief is to gargle with soluble aspirin.

All cough syrups are a waste of money. Best thing is regular steaming with Olbas oil.

I love Venos so much.

It would be my go to 'medicine' for appendicitis.

This used to be the medication of choice ...

I remember when I worked in a pharmacy and we had customers who got through several bottles a week, swearing that it was the best medication in the world. Something to do with the main ingredients being laudanum, tincture of cannabis, and chloroform, I guess.

I remember once caning a load of Benylyn, Night Nurse and Venos. (luckily avoiding a paracetamol OD) it was trippy as hell. Not in a pleasant way.
