The best Brighton band of the last 6 or so years are calling it a day tomorrow night with a final gig at the Lexington in London.
Their third and final album from last year, Canines, is stunningly good and they're definitely going out on a high.

Anyone else going?
Anyone else going to miss 'em?

Seem like a decent enough band but best of the last 6 or so years?

British Sea Power
Brakes
The Electric Soft Parade
The Pipettes
The Tenderfoot

All the above might have something to say about that tag!

I'll be there tomorrow (but you knew that anyway). I strangely bumped into two members of the band last night and wished them best of luck for their final gig!

Yep, they'll be fighting over second place.

Enjoy the gig, Kevo. Comet Gain and Chips for the Poor are both great bands too, so it's a cracking line-up.
I'm playing Canines again at the mo; they truly do / did deserve much wider recognition.
