Just thought I'd give my NSC chums a heads up for what looks a good comedy starting tonight on channel 4 in the place of Derek
The adverts look good with the main character a great mimic of celebrities who works as a maintenance man

Hopefully it's good or it'll be my head on the chopping block

I enjoyed the adverts for it in places. No idea how much of a story there'll be, but the impersonations were ticklesome. I'm in.

He sounds like a good impressionist, but the series itself looks a bit crap from the ads. I'm sure he could make a much better living out of stand up

Good idea to use his talent in a comedy drama instead of a sketch show or a 10 minute stand up routine just hearing voice after voice

Yup i enjoyed that. A warm-hearted comedy in spite of the low self-esteem all the people within emblazon. I liked his talk of the nights in the Irish pub, and the impressions were generally naturally funny in themselves anyway.

The guy seems fairly talented at some of his impressions but I wouldn't have known he was doing Ronnie Corbett if they hadn't continually mentioned "It's Ronnie Corbett". He sounded more like Cyril Sneer from 80's saturday morning favourite The Racoons. Watched 10 mins and turned over, not my cup of tea at all.

Presumably he's the " Ahm More than Freeman" bloke.

I've discovered I can do a pretty good Morgan myself consequent to that advert.
