Seems to be Status Quo week on Radio Two, maybe I've heard all the songs too often but I'm finding them mindless and irritating.

They used to have a pretty big and loyal following but I think you may grow out of them by the time you're twenty?

What does NSC think...if it can be bothered with such triviality.

Anyone who says anything other than Yes is a liar!

Two types of people in this world; those who like Status Quo and those who don't admit to liking Status Quo!

QuuuuuuuooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo

I did like Pictures of Matchstick Men and Dog with Two Heads but one Status Quo album is enough because they're all the same

As for You're in the Army Now

It might not be musically innovative or challenging, but the gigs are (or at least used to be) a good laugh and fantastic atmosphere. Think I saw them 3 times.

Didn't they play the Star of Brunswick a few years ago?

I find a lot of thier stuff listenable but not much more. I saw them at the Hastings Beer and music festival a few years back and if ever a band was going through the motions for the sake of a few bob it was them, no enthusiasm at all.

When I was twelve (about 30 years ago) I had everything they had done. Then I grew up. I still get faintly nostalgic when I hear a really old one, but they should have given up recording in the mid eighties and just toured like many other "classic" bands.

Now put me RIGHT OFF them by telling me that he's a Palace fan

To be honest mate I dont have a clue, he could be Millwall I suppose. Then again he could be an Arsenal fan as there seem to be more of them about than Palace or Millwall
