Great guitar heroics at Woodstock, excellent band leader, 60's bluesrock Marquee regular and a good part of the prog era.
Another man done gone - unforseen complications to minor surgery (?)

I first saw TYA in 1974 at The Ally Pally fest, and the driving force in that performance felt like it swept my hair back!
Alvin Lee was the epitome of a 'guitar hero'.

30 years later I saw 2 shows of their tour and it blew away 3 decades!
Awesome player, and bound to gain more recognition as a blues-rock legend
