On that same theme, Stephan Guivarche (sp) who also won the world cup in 1998.
Victor Valdes of Barcelona is a very average keeper lucky to play in a great side that have won a lot.
He also won the Euros.
And the Champion's League.
And the Premier League. Twice.
Of course, there was the French league. Again, twice.
And he was also voted goalkeeper of the year at the European Footballer of the Year awards. Yep, twice.
I also notice that he's France's most capped goalkeeper with their record for World Cup appearances.
Doesn't really compare to David May does he?
