After reading Saturdays programme who would have thought we would have a player whose biggest disappointment was losing a Champions league final, most memorable match was winning La Liga and most difficult opponent was Lionel Messi.

Tomasz Kuszczak was on the bench for two consecutive champions league finals and like Vicente never got on the pitch

This is the 'problem' for the whole club, fans included, but esp the dev squad.

These guys are no longer having to prove themselves to be on a par with, or a better prospect than (plucking name out of the air) Jeff Minton.

There's some seriously big boots to fill with no 'nothing' games to use for trialling the young'uns.

The biggest problem for some of the fans is that, when you look at the squad we have and read articles like the one highlighted, it makes anybody who uses the "but we are doing better than we were five years ago" argument look rather silly.
