Not as bad as it sounds, the ground has been vastly improved and the figure is after depreciation. In fact they made an operating surplus of £227k.
Look at some of the other 1st class counties financial results, and Sussex are sitting quite pretty.

Rusty went back to South Africa due to family bereavement and didnt return i believe.
