* Albion have added highly-rated Plymouth goalkeeper Christian Walton to their development squad after a successful trial.
* The 17-year-old will complete a scholarship with the Seagulls before signing a three-year professional contract in the summer.
* Goalkeeping coach Andy Beasley said: "I'm delighted to get him signed up. The scouting system did a great job in highlighting him so I went to watch him and straight away I was impressed by him.
* "You could see how professional he already was as a young lad and then he produced in a game and that's what you want to see in a young boy."
