Head-to-head
• This is the 30th competitive meeting since they first clashed in 1962 and there is only one win between them; Brighton have won 10 of the previous 29, Blackburn 11.
• They faced each other at Ewood Park three weeks ago, when a penalty from Brighton's David Lopez deep into stoppage time cancelled out Jordan Rhodes' spot-kick on the stroke of half-time and denied Michael Appleton a first win as Blackburn boss.
• Rovers are unbeaten in three against the Seagulls, who last defeated the Lancashire club in March 1991 with a 1-0 home triumph in the old Second Division.
Brighton
• Seventh-placed Brighton are chasing consecutive wins, which could lift them into the play-off places.
• Watford, Middlesbrough and Birmingham are the only clubs to have left the Amex Stadium with maximum points this season.
• The Seagulls remain the division's draw specialists with 12 of their 30 outings finishing level.
Blackburn
• Blackburn are looking for the three points which would see them jump Brighton and give Appleton's new club a fourth straight victory in all competitions.
• Rovers have returned without a point from only three trips this season (Crystal Palace, Middlesbrough and Blackpool), but all three of their away league victories have been against the clubs currently in the relegation zone (Barnsley, Bristol City and Peterborough).
• The Lancashire club have not conceded in three games, or four and a half hours of Championship football, since the Lopez stoppage-time penalty for Brighton in the reverse fixture on 22 January.

Our referee tonight Mr Woolmer has taken charge of 23 games this season booking 58 and sending off 2.
He took charge of our 0-0 draw away at Derby back in October. Booking Bridge and Bridders for us, Keogh for the Rams.

Bridcutt is 1 yellow away from suspension ( I think ).

Will Kazim Richards be so wound up he'll get a red?

Remember, people, don't start arrogantly awarding us the win when the team is announced!

I think this will be a game where we have to win ugly , Blackburn like to mix it up "Burnley" style.

Buckley is a shoe in too start, please, have to have natural width from the off.

Normal back 5
Orlandi, Bridcutt, Dicker, Buckley
Ulloa, CMS

Vicente to come on after 55 minutes. If it was me, I would start him in place of Dicker and just go for it. But he wont.
