Final Score: Albion 1 Hull City 0MATCH UPDATES
FT:
Late drama as Albion steal the three points in the closing minutes. An exciting second half with both sides creating numerous chances, but it was that man Vicente who showed the extra bit of class to give Poyet’s men the win.90+2: Hull come close again as Corry Evans drives a low effort wide. Is that the visitor's last chance?
85: Hull have an immediate chance in the same position to equalise but Brady smashes the chance handsomely over.
83! GOAL! Just like at the KC Stadium earlier this season there is a late goal, but this time it is Albion. Orlandi is brought down on the edge of the area and his fellow Spaniard Vicente steps up and drills the free-kick past Stockdale.
79: Another terrific save from Kuszczak! This time the Polish international gets down low to his right to push Ahmed Elmohamady's goal bound effort round the post.
74: What a save this is! Brady's brilliant dipping effort from distance looks destined for the back of the net but Kuszczak does magnificently to tip the strike over.
73: Gus Poyet makes another attack minded substitution as Will Buckley replaces Bruno.
67: It's end-to-end here and it's Albion who are guilty of wasting a great chance this time. Wayne Bridge's low cross deflects into the path of Orlandi, who from 12 yards tries to pick out the top corner but side foots over the bar.
65: Hull just mange to clear their lines as David Lopez's cross ricochets in the penalty box before being hacked away.
63: Another great opportunity for Hull just seconds later as David Meyler volleys wide at the back post.
62: So close for the Tigers! Stephen Quinn's deflected cross nearly drops under the bar but Kuszczak manages to beat the ball away. City retain possession and build again and Quinn once again provides the delivery from the left but Koren stabs over from six yards.
58: Jay Simpson flicks a header wide moments before the very popular introduction of Vicente. The Albion faithful ring out the Spaniards name as he replaces Dean Hammond.
53: Free-kick for Hull on the edge of the box, Koren steps up but drills his effort wide. Lively start to the second half from the visitors.
46: There are 45 minutes remaining as the second half gets underway. In the past three meetings between these two sides there has been just the solitary goal, will we see that added to in this half?
45: On the stroke of half-time Leonardo Ulloa heads wide from Bruno's cross.
32: It's Gus Poyet’s side who are in control and they are starting to ask questions of Stockdale now, this time Andrea Orlandi’s dipping free-kick forces the keeper to tip over.
28: Excellently controlled half-volley from David Lopez forces Stockdale into a fine diving save to his right.
18: Albion in the ascendancy now but unable to force David Stockdale into action, as the City defenders continue to bravely throw themselves in the way of any Brighton shot.
12: Tomasz Kuszczak punches away a Hull corner but only as far as Stephen Quinn who wildly screws his shot high and wide.
11: Hull captain Robert Koren drags a shot wide from distance, then moments later the Tigers skipper is played in but denied by a magnificent challenge from Adam El-Abd.
01: The visitors create the first shooting opportunity of the game as Jay Simpson blast over from 12 yards.
0: Underway here at the Amex in front of the Sky cameras, as high flying Hull City take on the Albion.
