Brighton and Hove Albion v Hull City

match officials:-referee STUART ATTWELL

Alexandra Ihringova and Darren Blunden
Fourth Official Mick Russell

I've only ever done one match thread before and that was a draw, so I'm unbeaten on this.
We will win 3-1 with a brace coming from Ulloa.
That is all

This is crunch time really. We need to dominate and win well for the next two games to restore faith and credibility. Come on Gus, pick the team then leave it to the players. Don't burden them with too many instructions. If they're good enough, so be it.

Massive game today, feel that if we don't win this we can kiss good bye to playoffs as already 5pts off it. Also with no win we could drop aloud of places. Come on albion need these 3pts today

Our ref today, Mr Stuart Attwell:-
Officiated 29 games so far this season.
handed out 83 yellows and 2 reds.
Was also In charge of our 1-0 defeat this season at Hull back in August, booking Faye and McKenna for Hull, Noone for us.
Was also famous for awarding Reading the "phantom goal" at Watfords vicarage road when the ball had gone out for a corner in 2008.

Head-to-head
• An 85th-minute goal from Jay Simpson gave Hull all three points in the home fixture with Brighton in August, and gave the Tigers only their fourth win in 22 league meetings with Brighton since 1993.
• Brighton have only been beaten once by Hull in a home league game; 2-1 in August 1965. Since then they've won 13 and drawn five of the 18, in addition to an FA Cup tie win in 1985.
• If four goals are scored in this match, it will take the total of goals on display in league matches between the pair to 100.
Brighton
• Eighth-placed Brighton are five points outside the play-offs, despite failing to win eight of their last 10 Championship games.
• The Seagulls are the division's draw specialists, with 12 of their 29 matches finishing all-square.
• The south coast club have not lost a league game in which they have opened the scoring, and have not won one in which opponents have scored first.
Hull City
• Hull are looking for back-to-back wins, after gaining their first Championship victory of the year away to Millwall last weekend.
• The Tigers have not been beaten in seven league games on the road, and boast the best away record in the division, taking 27 points out of 45.
• If selected, defender Paul McShane will be making his 200th career league appearance.

Gus "Hinted" at taking "Risk's" to obtain a few more wins!!!

I congratulate RowleyBirkinQ.C(deceased) for doing the same here and starting this thread.

We are starting to run out of games,if we could find some form now we may just do it,if we really have luck behind us and hit a real purple patch, with CMS (he is due a scoring run) we could (like in 1988) snatch 2nd spot on the final day.
