Albion face Hull in the late kick-off on Saturday in what some commentators will be describing as a play-off six-pointer.
While it is a little early to be describing matches quite that way, it is fair to say that a draw will not be tremendously beneficial to either side and therefore there are solid reasons for looking to avoid that outcome this week.
BetButler price up the match with Brighton 2.45, Hull 3.10 and the Draw 3.40 and it is the home win that immediately catches the eye. Quite simply, for an Albion victory 2.45 is too long. Take it!
If pressed for a correct score nomination I would offer up 2-0 at 12.00 as representing value, while as a bit of an insurance policy I will concede that a 1-1 draw at 7.00 also makes a lot of sense.
Being a televised match we have the luxury of a first goalscorer market for this game. Craig Mackail-Smith is favourite at 6.00 while Leonardo Ulloa is half-a-point longer at 6.50. No Goalscorer at 10.00 covers a 0-0 draw and provides refund in the event of an own-goal, while Vicente is attractively priced at 12.00.
Overall though it is Andrea Orlandi who provides the punting value at 15.00.
