Andrea Orlandi has issued a warning that team-mate Leonardo Ulloa will go from strength to strength this season. The Argentine striker was making his league debut against Sheffield Wednesday and followed up his performance against Arsenal with another impressive display at Hillsborough.
Orlandi told seagulls.co.uk, "Ulloa has to adapt to the game here but he is a clever boy so he will do. He will get even better with every game he plays as he is a very good player.
“When Macca [Craig Mackail-Smith] came on, his pace caused them problems and his link-up with Leo was excellent.*
"Leo played very well in the second half when partnering Macca and I expect the gaffer will be looking at them playing together.”
Orlandi netted Albion's goal in the 3-1 defeat against the Owls and the midfielder has urged the squad to move on quickly from the loss.
“We were close but when they scored the third goal it was over. We knew what their style was, the gaffer showed us a couple of clips and they were putting the ball in the box, then looking to pick up the second ball.
“There were a lot of crosses today and from their first cross their striker got lucky as the ball hit his foot, then his head and went in.
“So from then the game changes and from set plays they were dangerous and that is how they got a couple of goals. They played their way and won the game but we need to get over it.”
