* Albion have continued the process of overhauling their development squad by signing 18-year-old Icelandic midfielder Emil Asmundssen.
* The Iceland under 19 international has agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract.
* The Seagulls brought 22-year-old Latvia international centre half Vitalijs Maksimenko into the development squad earlier in the January transfer window.
