Albion boss Gus Poyet makes one change to the side that beat Derby County 2-1 last weekend, with top scorer Craig Mackail-Smith returning to the starting line-up.
The Albion striker missed last weekend’s game owing to a tight hamstring but returns in place of Will Buckley to lead the line alongside Ashley Barnes and David Lopez.
Buckley has been named on the substitutes’ bench, while the club did not receive international clearance in time for Leonardo Ulloa to make his debut at St Andrew’s this afternoon.
The club hope to receive clearance in time for Tuesday night’s trip to Blackburn.
Blues boss Lee Clark makes three changes to the side that lost 2-1 to Leeds United in their FA Cup third-round replay on Tuesday night.
At the bakc, Jack Butland regains his regular position in goal, with Colin Doyle dropping to the bench, while Callum Reilly starts in place of Ravel Morrison in midfield.
Meanwhile, Rob Hall is preferred to Marlon King and he partners Nathan Redmond in attack; King drops to the bench.
