That's a good question.

I reckon about a million taking into account his age and previous record and the level where he played his football. That £1m would be based on this season alone.

I'd doubt they'd sell to be honest, if they lose Zaha etc.. they'll try and hold on to the likes of him.

About the same as what we paid for CMS about £2.5m?

At what point do Palace sell? Do they maximise their return or let him run down the remaining 18 months on his contract?

Why on earth would we sell any of our players, with the obvious exception of Zaha if we don't go up?

It's not like we need the money as it is, and we'll be getting a nice £20m fee for Wilfried at some point in the next year or so.

As for how much you'd need to pay for Murray... More than you've got. We'd be bloody stupid to sell the top scorer in English football. Keeping him fit probably means promotion and the £100m that comes with it.

If Murray had never played for us and there was no rivalry between Mullery and Venables we'd have our very own NSC forum about BHA.

It's a similar story to Ricky Lambert at Southampton. Lots said he wouldnt do it at Championship level, but a goalscorer will score goals, if given the service.
To score 20 goals before Christmas is a superb achievement, and we've been crying out for a striker to do this for us.
As for value, you wouldn't get much change from £3 mill, but he is vital to our promotion ambitions, so you'll have to look elsewhere.

If Murray had never played for us, lots of people on here would have nothing to talk about. Which may be a good thing.

Go back to starting threads about Water Slides to Falmer Station please Mr Rev
