Just me or was that chaotic on the way back to the station? They created more trouble than was necessary by getting everyone walking then stopping every so often and then getting all over the top when people started pushing because they were getting pushed from behind. Punches were thrown by the police towards our lot.
Generally put the icing on the cake of a rubbish day out, needs to be better organised next year

Very poor communication. Never communicated with the fans to their intentions or plans.
Limited communication will only infuriate the situation.
Disappointed with the turn out from the Palace 'Ultra's' on the walk back to Norwood Junction. #palacerunawayagain !!

I wasn't part of the marshalled walk back to the station, but I thought they handled it pretty well. It kicked off briefly before the game, about 2:30ish walking up the hill, but they moved in quickly and got that pretty much sorted. Always going to be difficult for them to control the whole thing because let's be honest, idiots from both sides were itching for trouble to kick off so they could get stuck in.

The way it's looking we probably won't be playing them next year...unless in a cup game!

To be fair you more than likely got the brunt because of a few hundred Brighton fans wading through the Police lines to get back to the station 20 minutes before the game end... Whilst kicking wing mirrors and generally being twats! Still that allowed me a through route to the station getting back to Eastbourne at 1830hrs.

Turned left out of the away end and asked the old bill if we could go through the cordon to get to Thornton Heath, no problem they said and off we went, no issues whatsoever, not kept in at the end, couldn't see what the problem was.

You see, being short sighted you've completely missed the point about them. They aren't trouble, they sing songs throughout the 90 odd minutes and have almost single handedly brought the atmosphere back to our ground. Then again, had they all started fighting your 'mob' (i'm assuming every well ard geezer from your club went today) then you'd have used that stick to beat us. It's all a bit tedious. Just try and say well done and you'll try and turn us over at your place you silly 1980's person.

Was a bit of trouble coming onto the main road up to the station between our fans and police.

Our fans were damaging cars and throwing things - that certainly happened and it will come back to the club - pathetic.

Bollocks Over the top policing. I was in the main lot corralled and escorted back to Norwood Junction. A couple of Estate agent signs and a dustbin was about the sum of the damage.

Yep a drum and goal music sure make an atmosphere about as real as Simon Jordan's skin tone, or Jordan's tits

Chatting to a couple of ob in the ground, they were fine. Like to be able to say the same about the tossers at Norwood, f***ing pushing and shoving their way around. Football fans like any other tax payer pay their wages, a little bit of f***ing respect would have been nice. Wouldn't mind if we were being arseholes!

I was taking the Michael, Nigel!
Some of your lot think they're the real deal hooligans, especially when they came down to The Amex and started hitting innocent bystanders outside the ground.

exactly my point, what trouble there was was created by them pushing people and generally acting like billy big bollocks.

Thought they were alright, held us back for 20min after the whistle and then just escorted us to the station where a train was waiting. What did annoy me was people smashing wing mirrors on cars.

I am surprised after the meeting (Police) before the game, it didn't seem to go as planned, my mate lives in Folfstone and left 10 mins early to get the early train, got to NJ he texted me saying full of Brighton!! If it dint go as (we both thought) we need to compile a list of complaints (if they are genuine, Im sure you know the real complaints from the wind ups) and we will put it to the police as soon as we can, they cant tell fans one thing and then do another, I did hear that the concourses would be open to those "kept behind" did that happen, if not our club need to know why it didnt........

you can always PM me
