Brighton & Hove Albion won an impressive three awards at the prestigious Training Journal Awards last night, paying tribute to the Team Brighton culture change and customer service programme at the Amex.
The club's partnership with 360 Degree Vision scooped the top prize in all three categories they were nominated for, starting with the Best Learning Partnership and quickly completing the hat-trick, adding the Best Change Management Programme and Best Leadership Programme to their awards tally.
Albion's Head of HR Rose Read said, "We are absolutely delighted that the Team Brighton programme has received this recognition. The club has been on an incredible journey these past two years and the Team Brighton programme enabled us to reach high standards for our supporters and our customers throughout the transition to the American Express Community Stadium.
"We have a fantastic group of staff here at Brighton and these awards are testament to the hard work and dedication of everybody at the club. A special thank you goes to our training partner Nick Brice from 360 Degree Vision who was pivotal in bringing the Team Brighton concept to life."
Established in 2006, the purpose of the Training Journal Awards is to promote excellence, best practice and innovation in Training and Learning & Development, and to highlight the importance of this area in today's business climate.
TJ's publisher David Crosby added, "The TJ awards were conceived to inspire excellence and celebrate best practice in learning and development. The standard of entries has become higher each year which is a testament to the professionalism and dedication of all the organisations that enter. Congratulations to all the winners."
These three prizes add to an impressive list of awards for the club since moving into the American Express Community Stadium 16 months ago, which includes the Best New Venue, Directors' Choice for the matchday hospitality, Structural Steel Design 2011 award and the Venue Team of the Year awarded earlier in the month.
